Biography

Vetri Kiran is an experienced actor in the Tamil film industry, known for performing a wide range of character roles alongside some of the top actors in Tamil cinema.

He began his journey in short films and later transitioned into feature films in 2021 with the critically acclaimed Jai Bhim (Tamil), in which he portrayed the Village Officer. The film’s massive success helped propel his acting career, leading to roles in notable films such as Siren, The Road, Vidamuyirchi, Indian 2, and the major 2023 releases Varisu and Thunivu, both of which premiered on the same date.

Vetri Kiran has collaborated with several renowned directors and production houses across the Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu industries. He also has multiple major film projects lined up for release. Beyond cinema, he has been actively involved in web series, OTT content, and television projects, and has appeared in numerous commercials and print campaigns for various brands.

Multilingual and versatile, he is fluent in Tamil, Hindi, and English, with basic proficiency in Telugu and Kannada. He draws inspiration from acclaimed performers such as Irrfan Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Kamal Haasan, Robert De Niro, Kangana Ranaut, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao. Outside of acting, he is skilled in several sports, passionate about photography, and is a certified NLP practitioner.

Before entering the world of cinema, Vetri Kiran worked in the IT industry in various capacities, eventually choosing to pursue acting full-time.
