Vijay Kumar Konda is an Indian film director and screenwriter predominantly active in the Telugu film industry. Born on October 21, 1977, in Khammam, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana), he developed an early interest in storytelling and filmmaking. 

Before making his mark as a director, Konda honed his skills by working in various capacities within the film industry, including scriptwriting and assisting in production. Konda's directorial debut came with Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), a romantic comedy that resonated with audiences for its engaging screenplay and relatable characters. The film's success established him as a promising director in Telugu cinema. He followed this with Oka Laila Kosam (2014), a romantic drama that further solidified his reputation for crafting heartfelt stories.​
