Vikesh Bhutani
Biography
Vikesh Bhutani has over 14 years of experience in the Indian film and digital entertainment industry. As an Executive Producer, he has been part of several acclaimed and genre-defining projects, including Gully Boy, Dil Dhadakne Do, Talaash, the Fukrey franchise, and Rock On 2!.
During his tenure at Excel Entertainment, Vikesh co-produced three highly successful Amazon Original series — Mirzapur, Made in Heaven, and Inside Edge — all of which helped shape the landscape of Indian streaming content.
Transitioning into an independent role, he worked as a freelance Executive Producer on the Netflix original film Yeh Ballet for Roy Kapur Films and later contributed to Gehraiyaan, directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Dharma Productions.
Expanding his creative vision, Vikesh co-founded Chalkboard Entertainment, under which he produced The Underbug — an experimental psychological drama that earned the Breakouts Feature Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival 2023.
With his experience across mainstream cinema, streaming originals, and independent films, Vikesh Bhutani continues to be recognized as a versatile and forward-thinking producer shaping the future of contemporary Indian storytelling.
