Biography
Vindhya is an Indian actress who has worked predominantly in Tamil cinema. She made her acting debut with Sangamam (1999), directed by Suresh Krissna and written by Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi. The film starred Rahman and Vindhya in the lead roles and explored the relationship between classical and folk dance traditions.
She subsequently appeared in Tamil films including Kannukulle (2000), Kannan Varuvaan (2000), Chinna Ramasamy Periya Ramasamy (2000), Madhuravana, Thavasi (2001), Rishi (2001), Kundakka Mandakka (2005), and Kovai Brothers (2006).
