Biography
Viraj Gadodia is a professional film and video editor based in Mumbai with an experience of 6 years in long and short-format fiction and non-fiction content. His work spans multiple genres with comedy being his strong suit, having edited 11 Stand-Up Specials for Amazon Prime Video and Netflix for India's leading comedians such as Sapan Verma, Varun Thakur, Kaneez Surka, Aditi Mittal, and Atul Khatri.
In fiction, as an associate editor, his recently concluded work includes a feature film directed by Subhash Kapoor and the web series "Gormint" for Amazon. Viraj's short format work experience includes a travel show 'Chase the Monsoon' for MTV India, a cricket-based travel show called 'The Boundary Riders' for Hotstar, and branded content for RedBull India.
A mass media graduate and New York Film Academy alumni, Viraj is well-versed in multiple non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro 7 as well as Avid Media Composer. He is keen to work on projects that challenge him as an editor and help him grow with the fast-evolving industry standards. His goal as an editor is to craft proficient films that stay true to the director's vision.
