Biography
Vishal Karwal is an Indian television and film actor known for his work across popular TV serials, reality shows, and films. He gained recognition through well-known television shows such as Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn, Rishton Se Badi Pratha, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and Rangrasiya. Vishal also became a familiar face on reality television after participating in MTV Roadies, MTV Splitsvilla, and Bigg Boss. In 2016, he made a strong mark in cinema by playing a lead role in Vikram Bhatt’s horror thriller 1920 London.
Early Life and Education
Vishal Karwal was born in Himachal Pradesh, India, into a Punjabi family. His father was a jeweller dealing in precious stones and also served as a school chairman, while his mother is a homemaker. He was raised in a joint family in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. At the age of ten, he was sent to Dalhousie Public School, a boarding school in Dalhousie.
Academically inclined, Vishal pursued a Bachelor of Engineering to become a computer science engineer. Alongside academics, he developed an interest in aviation and later trained as a commercial pilot, completing his pilot training course in Texas, USA, in October 2008.
