Biography
V. M. Vinu is an Indian film director who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is known for directing films across genres, particularly family dramas, social stories and commercial entertainers.
Vinu made his directorial debut with Ayushman Bhava (1998). He subsequently directed films such as Balettan (2003), Vesham (2004), Yes Your Honour (2006), Mayaavi (2007), Makante Achan (2009) and Penpattanam (2010).
He has worked with several prominent Malayalam actors, including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Jayaram and Sreenivasan. His films often combine family relationships, humour and social themes with mainstream entertainment.
