Wentworth Miller

Biography

Making his debut as Gage Petronzi, a student who turns into a sea monster on hit TV horror show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Wentworth Miller is a British-American actor, and screenwriter. Having graduated from Princeton University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in English literature, it raised several eyebrows when he went to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the film world. 

 

Miller starred in TV shows like Time of Your Life (1999-2001), Popular (1999-2001), ER (1994-2009), Dinotopia (2002-2003) and Joan of Arcadia (2003-2005). But it was his role as Michael Scofield on the 2005 TV crime thriller series Prison Break (2005-2017), that made him one of the most sought after actors on television. The show was so popular that it was brought back to television by FOX in 2017. 

 

Miller made his big screen acting debut in 2003 with director Robert Benton's The Human Stain. He has acted in movies like Underworld (2003), Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) and The Loft (2014). Recently Miller was seen as Leonard Snart a.k.a. Captain Cold in The CW's superhero TV series' The Flash (2014 - Present) and Legends of Tomorrow (2016 - Present).

As a screenwriter Miller has served as a writer on director Chan-wook Park's critically acclaimed psychological thriller-drama, Stoker (2013). In 2016 he, along with D. J. Caruso, wrote The Disappointments Room. The psychological horror film was directed by D. J. Caruso and has Kate Beckinsale, Mel Raido, Gerald McRaney and Lucas Till in pivotal roles..
