Wunmi Mosaku
Biography
Wunmi Mosaku is a British-Nigerian actress known for her work in film, television, and theatre. She was born on 31 July 1986 in Zaria, Nigeria, and was raised in Manchester, England. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) before beginning her professional acting career.
Mosaku gained recognition through British television and film, appearing in productions such as Luther, Black Mirror, Damilola, Our Loved Boy, and The End of the F*ing World**. Her performance in the television film Damilola, Our Loved Boy earned her the BAFTA Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2017.
She received further critical acclaim for her role as Ruby Baptiste in the HBO series Lovecraft Country (2020). Her performance earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Mosaku entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Loki (2021), in which she portrayed Hunter B-15, a TVA agent who becomes increasingly sympathetic toward Loki and the truth about the organization. She reprised the role in Loki Season 2 (2023).
Her film credits include Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), His House (2020), The Batman (2022), and Alice, Darling (2022). She has also appeared in the television series Black Mirror, Dead Pixels, and We Own This City.
