SCREENWEST Travel Support Programme

Our travel support program provides funding towards the cost of travel for Western Australian practitioners to attend relevant interstate and international markets and conferences, or festivals and awards.

Financial support may also be offered to cover the cost of online registration to attend markets and conferences, through specialised programs.

Gamescom 2023 Travel Support

Screenwest has opened a competitive round to provide travel funding to a limited number of WA games studios and/or developers to attend Gamescom 2023, taking place in Cologne, Germany from 23-27 August.

Gamescom offers a wealth of opportunities for game developers by giving them access to the biggest names in the business. The event will serve as a showcase for the latest games being created internationally, the latest technologies being utilised, and the publishers and industry partners who are looking to provide services for talented game developers.

Travel Fund

The Screenwest travel fund assists with the costs of travel for Western Australian creatives and digital games developers / interactive practitioners to attend key national and international screen industry markets, or festivals and awards.

Travel funding assistance is highly competitive and is not automatic. Support and approval depends on the competitive strength of the application and the availability of funds.
