This translates to, "Let's celebrate Mere Husband Ki Biwi, then when it's time for my wife, we'll talk about it." This statement comes after Kapoor's confirmation of his breakup with Malaika Arora in October 2024. At a Diwali celebration event, when fans inquired about Arora, Kapoor responded, "Nahi, Abhi single hoon, relax," meaning, "No, I'm single now, relax." Arora has not publicly commented on the breakup.

Earlier, in May 2020, Kapoor had expressed his belief in the institution of marriage, despite coming from a "broken home." He stated, "Even though I come from a broken home, I believe in marriage. I see a lot of happily married couples around. I believe it is a good option to have." However, he also mentioned that he was not looking to get married anytime soon.
