Archana Puran Singh was born on March 26, 1962, in Dehradun, Uttar Pradesh. She is an Indian actress, television personality, and model in Bollywood. She made her debut with Jalwa (1987) alongside Aditya Pancholi.
She is best known for her role as Miss Braganza in Karan Johar's directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and she also appeared in Agneepath (1990), Raja Hindustani (1996), Mela (2000), Mohabbatein (2000), Krrish (2006), Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008), Money Hai Toh Honey Hai (2008), Bol Bachchan (2012), Kick (2014), and a special appearance in Housefull 4 (2019).
She now appears as the permanent guest of The Kapil Sharma Show (2016-). She has been married to actor Parmeet Sethi since 1992 with whom she has 2 children.
During the 1980's Archana was married to a man named Gurinder. Singh, They divorced after a few years. Later Gurinder passed away on Diwali 1991 when he accidentally shot himself.
