Bob Murawski

Biography

Bob Murawski was born in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in the northeast "Thumb" area of the state. Murawski was the valedictorian at his high school in Bad Axe, Michigan.

 

 He graduated from Michigan State University with a major in Telecommunications. Soon after graduating, Murawski interned with Detroit-based film sub-distributor, Bob Mason of Mason Releasing.

 

Partners "Grindhouse Releasing" with actor/director, Sage Stallone; has restored and digitally remastered "Make Them Die Slowly" (aka Cannibal Ferox (1981)) and Lucio Fulci's spaghetti-horror masterpiece, The Beyond (1981) (aka "The Beyond")

 

His partner is Chris Innis (1997-present). They were introduced to each other by executive producer Sam Raimi, on the TV series American Gothic (1995), where the two worked as editors. 

 

Both have worked on various Sam Raimi projects (but not always the same ones), and they have since worked together on Raimi's The Gift (2000) and Spider-Man (2002). The couple has also collaborated on various "Grindhouse Releasing" and "Box Office Spectaculars" films.

 

Murawski owns and runs "Box Office Spectaculars", which is re-releasing the cult horror film, I Drink Your Blood (1971), on DVD and all other formats.
