Himesh Reshammiya

Biography

Himesh is the son of Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya. He lost his elder brother at the age of 11 and decided to take up music as his career after the incident, to fulfill his father's wishes.

He did his schooling at Hill Grange School in the Peddar Road area, Mumbai.

Himesh started his career with a production house that aired quite a few TV soaps on Doordarshan Ahmedabad and Zee TV.

Father Vipin Reshammiya also produced the Bollywood movie Insaf Ki Jung (1988).

Son of Vipin Reshammiya and Madhu Reshammiya.

Father Vipin was producing a shelved movie, House of Reshamia's " Shaktishaali" (1981).

Starring Ashok Kumar, Vijay Anand, Rakesh Roshan, Mahendra Sandhu, Mithun Chakraborty, Asha Parekh, Sarika, Simi Garewal, Rita Bhaduri, Priyadarshinee, Dilraj Kaur, Satyen Kappu, A.K.Hangal, Dr.Shreeram Lagoo.
