Breakthrough with Comedy Films

Jay Roach made his directorial debut with Zoo Radio (1990), but his big break came in 1997 with Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. The film, starring Mike Myers, was a massive success, leading to two sequels:

  • Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
  • Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002)
