Emmy Award-nominated American actor Jesse Plemons is perhaps best known to the TV audience as Todd Alquist from Breaking Bad or Ed Blumquist from Fargo, the latter of which won him a Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2016.
Plemons, who started out as a child actor through films like Finding North (1998) and All the Pretty Horses (2000), first rose to prominence courtesy of his performance in the drama series Friday Night Lights, which earned him a Young Artist Awards nomination for Best Supporting Young Actor in 2007.
Among Plemons` most notable film roles are Van Dodd in the psychological drama The Master (2012), Kevin Weeks in the biographical crime drama Black Mass (2015), Roger Clark in the historical drama political thriller The Post (2017) and Lt. Rudy Kidder in the Western film Hostiles (2017).
His performance in the 2016 comedy-drama Other People earned Plemons an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead that year. Other significant film credits include Paul (2009), Bridge of Spies (2015), and Judas And The Black Messiah (2021).
