Biography
Joseph Quinn (born 26 January 1994) is an English actor. He is best known for his role as Eddie Munson in the fourth season of the Netflix series Stranger Things (2022). His previous appearances were in the BBC One series Dickensian (2016), Howards End (2017), Les Misérables (2018), and the Sky Atlantic series Catherine the Great (2019). He has since starred in the horror film A Quiet Place: Day One (2024).
Following his performance in Stranger Things, Quinn was cast in numerous studio blockbusters. He starred in A Quiet Place: Day One, directed by Michael Sarnoski, which was released on June 28, 2024, by Paramount Pictures. He was also cast as Geta in Gladiator II, directed by Ridley Scott, and scheduled to be released on November 22, 2024.
In February 2024, it was announced that Quinn was cast as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, scheduled for release on July 25, 2025. Quinn will reprise the role in Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027).
Shortly thereafter, Quinn was cast in Warfare, an A24 war film written and directed by Alex Garland, which he will film before working on The Fantastic Four. Quinn is also attached to star in Bret Easton Ellis' upcoming horror film Relapse.
