Biography
Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is an Indian film editor who works primarily in the Telugu film industry. A six-time winner of the Nandi Award for Best Editor, Venkateswara Rao has worked as an editor in over a hundred films in the course of a career spanning over four decades.
Some of his best-known works include Sye (2004), Subhash Chandra Bose (2005), Yamadonga (2007), Magadheera (2009), and Naan Ee (2012). His work in S.S. Rajamouli`s Naan Ee earned Venkateswara Rao several accolades, including a nomination for Best Editor at the Madrid International Film Festival.
Other significant editorial credits include Chinna Rayudu (1992), Raja Kumarudu (1999), Simhadri (2003), Vikramarkudu (2006), Bahubali: The Beginning (2015) Janatha Garage (2016), Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) and Jaya Janaki Nayaka (2017).
