Biography
Laura Ziskin was an American film producer and screenwriter who is known for producing the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man.
She also produced Pretty Woman, What About Bob? As Good as It Gets, Hero, Stealth, No Way Out, The Rescue and The Butler.
She was married to Julian Barry and later Alvin Sargent. She passed away in 2011 due to breast cancer.
Started as a personal assistant for Jon Peters.
Named recipient of the Producers Guild of America's 2011 Visionary Award [November 10, 2010].
Graduated from USC School of Cinema-Television (1973)
