Milan Jaleel
Biography
Milan Jaleel is an Indian film producer and distributor primarily associated with Malayalam cinema. Born on 15 May 1960 in Thrissur, Kerala, he began his film-production career in 1997 with Kalyanappittannu. He later became associated with Galaxy Films, through which he produced and distributed numerous Malayalam films.
As a producer, Jaleel has worked on films including Kalyanappittennu (1997), Chandranudikkunna Dikkil (1999), Soothradharan (2001), Kunjikoonan (2002), Yathrakarude Sradhakku (2002), Ben Johnson (2005), Thuruppu Gulan (2006), Inspector Garud (2007), Happy Husbands (2010), Cocktail (2010), Run Baby Run (2012), Thappana (2012), Lucky Star (2013), Praise the Lord (2014), Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal (2014), Fireman (2015), and Children's Park (2019).
Several of his productions featured leading Malayalam actors. Ben Johnson (2005), for example, starred Kalabhavan Mani, while Thuruppu Gulan featured Mammootty, and Run Baby Run starred Mohanlal.
Jaleel has also been associated with the Kerala Film Producers' Association, where he has served as president. Through his long career as a producer and distributor, he has contributed to Malayalam cinema across commercial comedy, action, thriller, and family-drama films.
