An Indian film and television actress, Navneet Nishan primarily works in the Hindi and Punjabi movie industries. Her claim to fame was the famous Hindi soap Tara, in which she essayed the titular role.

Navneet has been a part of Bollywood films like Raja Hindustani (1996) Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke (1993), Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995), Jaanam Samjha Karo (1999), Hadh Kar Di Aapne (2000), Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009), My Name Is Khan (2010), Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013).

Her Punjabi movie credits include Jee Aayan Nu (2002), Asa Nu Maan Watna Da (2004), Dil Apna Punjabi (2006), Ik Kudi Punjab Di (2010) and Aa Gaye Munde U.K. De (2014). Navneet Nishan`s 2017 release includes the Punjabi movie Mahi NRI, which stars Hardy Sandhu, Poppy Jabbal, and Rameet Kaur in the lead roles.

She is associated with the 2017 movie The Wishing Tree alongside Shabana Azmi and Makrand Deshpande directed by Manika Sharma. Her 2019 release includes Ardab Mutiyaran.
