Biography

Gurpreet Ghuggi is an Indian actor and stand-up comedian, who majorly works in the Hindi and Punjabi film industries. He completed his formal graduation from Doaba College in Jalandhar City, Punjab. 

 

Ghuggi started his career as a Punjabi actor in Jalandhar Doordarshan`s telefilms and starred in the TV soap opera Parchhaven. However, he received recognition only after appearing on the reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

 

 He made his debut with the film Jee Aayan Nu in 2002. Some of his most notable film performances include roles in Yaaran Naal Baharan (2005), Mitti Wajaan Maardi (2007), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Ik Kudi Punjab Di (2010), Khiladi 786 (2012), Jatt James Bond (2014), Second Hand Husband (2015), Saadey CM Saab (2016) and Mahi NRI (2017).

 

 He is associated with the 2018 Punjabi sci-fi Raduaa, Carry On Jatta 2, JATT vs IELTS, Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan, Mr & Mrs 420 Returns, Mar Gaye Oye Loko, Afsar and Son Of Manjeet Singh. His 2019 releases include Manje Bistre 2, Muklawa, Ardaas Karaan
